The Americana Community Music Associations presents the Black Feathers with Chuck Williams opening at the Listening Room at 7 PM on October 29th.
The Black Feathers are an award-winning duo from Gloucestershire in England. The perfectly paired voices of Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler intertwine effortlessly to create a sound combining elements of folk, roots, alt-country and americana. Their music quickly draw the interest of listeners, but it is the stage chemistry that will keep them riveted. Having already built up a loyal following in the UK, The Black Feathers have been spreading their wings across the US. They have performed at Philadelphia Folk Festival and AmericanaFest, and have also been awarded official showcases at the North East Regional and Far-West Folk Alliance conferences.

Chuck’s music does exactly what it is supposed to reaches emotions in the listener. It gives words to feelings we all share and provokes thought long after the music is over. There is something here that a lot of people are going to latch on to, especially in these trying times.
