Songwriters in the Round featuring Eddie Dillon, Mike Laureanno, Louis Leeman & Chuck Williams. A mix of Irish Music, Americana, Folk and Acoustic Rock. The performers will talk about the craft of songwriting, tell stories and sing their songs.
Music Monday features 3 performers doing original music This is a FREE Event but please do bring non-perishable food items (or Cash) to help support Meals on Wheels. Chuck is a Singer/Songwriter and will play a 45 minute set of original songs. Feel free to BYOB and pinic!

A 2 hour concert by the Montgomery Street Ramblers Trio consisting of Fred Miller (Harmonica), Frank Cairns (Lead Guitar & Vocals) and Chuck Williams (Guitar and Vocals). Expect the unexpected with original songs and some classic covers of the songs we grew up with. This will be great fun.
Our Whaling City Museum Stage host will also be performing on the Southcoast Stage on Sunday at noon. Chuck has been appearing throughout New England and down the East Coast for years planting the seeds of his songs along the way. New Bedford Folk Festival has been CANCELLED!
Gary Fish hosts one of the best Open Mics on the southcoast of Massaachusetts and Rhode Island. This venue is known as a great listening room with excellent sound and a community of music lovers. The Montgomery Street Ramblers Trio is the featured act of the night. The trio consists of Frank Cairns (vocals & lead guitar), Fred Miller on harmonica & flute and Chuck Williams (vocals & guitar) Come join the crowd for this groups first outing!

Songwriters in the Round featuring Performing Songwriter Chuck Williams with Cody Care & Jamie Marsland. Each performer will play their original music individually in rotation. They will play 7 rounds for 7 songs per artist. The interaction between the songwriters is great to watch.
The Rhode Island Songwriters in the Round is a long time event of the organization. The event features 4 songwriters that take turns sharing their songs, stories and laughs. In the third round each performer does a song they wrote based on a theme the previous months listeners selected. This format always reveals 4 different songs based on the same theme. Come join us!
